Hosted by Legion Branch 133 with support from the City of Port Coquitlam, this annual event unites the community in reflection and gratitude.

Port Coquitlam’s Alanna Wong has turned a simple crochet hobby into a decade-long tradition of giving back. Over the past 10 years, she’s handmade more than 10,000 poppies, raising $28,000 for the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #133. Each poppy takes just ten minutes to make, yet the impact reaches far beyond our community, reminding us that sometimes real change begins with one person taking action.
