The Parade of Lights Port Coquitlam 2025 is lighting up our city once again on Saturday, December 6, and this year promises even more Christmas magic, community spirit, and festive fun. Whether you’re a PoCo local or visiting from a nearby city, this glowing winter celebration is one you won’t want to miss.

Parade Details

Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Time: 5:00 PM

Location: Downtown Port Coquitlam

The parade begins at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre and travels through Kelly Avenue, Shaughnessy Street, McAllister Avenue, and Mary Hill Road. Thousands of lights, decorated floats, city vehicles, community groups, and a special appearance by Santa will illuminate the night.

Free Holiday Activities Before the Parade (1 PM – 5 PM)

Hosted at the Livy & Porthaven Presentation Centre and Leigh Square:

  • Complimentary hot chocolate

  • Photos with Santa

  • Walk-in snow globe

  • Inflatable Santa sleigh

  • Winter-themed games

  • The “NorthStar Express” mini holiday train running between Leigh Square & Veterans Park

  • Family Play & Skate: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

  • Holiday Arts & Crafts: 5 PM – 7 PM

  • Complimentary treats & hot chocolate

  • Free Public Skate: 6 PM – 7 PM
